DAY 3: IN VANUATU AND THE TROOPS ARE READY TO GO INTO BATTLE FOR OUR BELOVED FIJI. I AM VERY HONORED TO BE A COACH FOR A GREAT BUNCH OF YOUNG LADIES WHO HAVE STRUGGLED TO GET HERE AND I OWE THIS ALL TO THEIR FAMILIES. COACH TAKA FEELS THE SAME WAY ABOUT HIS YOUNG MEN. WE BOTH COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD OF THEM. A INVITE TO ANY PARENT WHO WISHES TO SPEAK TO THEIR CHILD, I HAVE A SKYPE ADDRESS tai.smith6. Skype will be on from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. The phone charges are high so this maybe a way if you need to speak with your children. Day 2 In the morning the teams took a walk into town after a heavy breakfast. The hotel accommodation included a continental breakfast. The table was cleared in no time and had to be replenished about 5 times. Our youths enjoyed the meal prepared. The afternoon was the opening at the Mooring Hotel. The Vanuatu women performed a welcoming dance and immediately after the Fiji youth shook hands and got photographs with the performers. This soon opened the floor and the Kiwis followed suit. The Youth mingled and it appeared that they were sizing up the opposition. In the evening everyone did their own cooking. Each room was given a chicken and rice and I was extremely pleased to note that there are some great cooks among the boys. Everyone enjoyed their meal of stir fried chicken and rice. The teams then met for a briefing by the Managers and the evening ended with a prayer. Thankyou Fiji for your comments on Facebook this has really gone well with the youth. 10.30am Fiji Women vs NZ 2.30am Fiji Men vs NZ 5pm Fiji Women vs Vanuatu
