DAY 3 SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS MONTH MATTHEW 17:1-3, 14-21 17:00-18:00 (Messianic Temple) 1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.... 14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic[c] and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” PRAYER POINT. 1.We praying for the entire members of this assembly that we will have time to wait on the Lord and have solid, authentic and genuine personal life devotion. We must not have a day devotion for a week activity. Pray for strength to wait on the Holy Spirit daily. 1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2. May our personal life devotion invoke the hand of God upon us. The hand of God produces divine grace and anointing. The hand of God will remove the hand of the enemy. Lets pray for the supernatural, the miraculous and signs and wonders. 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.... 3. We praying for the release of faith. Though, faith comes primarily by hearing, some faith get released through fasting and prayers. The kind of faith that deals with some kinds of praying gets discharged only when we have fasted and prayed intensely, fervently and effectively. 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” 4. We are praying for a teacheable spirit, a spirit of humility which settles on humbleness to ask in prayer. Pride is simply getting into difficulties, which is normal, and trying to use your human wisdom, as a believer in figuring out solutions. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
