DAY 31: playwright Sheila Callaghan A wordsmith to be sure...one of our MENTOR PROJECT fellows in 2006 with LASCIVIOUS (great word!) SOMETHING. Most recently her words have been on TV: in SHAMELESS and UNITED STATES OF TARA...her list of plays is impressive, her awards and accomplishments too many to list...words critics have used to describe her work? comically engaging...subversively penetrating...and downright weird...all awesome words that explain why we love her! Now here she ONLY USES FIVE WORDS to express what Cherry Lane means to her...and we have to say, we couldnt agree more. 90 artists.90 days.90 years.
