My Ex-Boss – Being unemployed after my dept. closed down in 2011, my boss calls me up and gives me an offer to work for a new company he works for. With the economy being so slow, I jumped at the opportunity and am more than happy managing a new dept. Seems like old times with some of my other co-workers in the same team! 3. My Work Travel Distance – As if the happy news couldn’t get any happier, the new place I work for is only 10.5 miles away from home. NO TRAFFIC, NO FWY ….NO PROBLEM!!!
