DAY 4: March 13th 2014 - Revelation – Gain wisdom of God, the Word of God would come alive and be real. • Desire wisdom: Proverbs 4:8 “Prize wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you; she will bring you to honor when you embrace her”. • Spend time in the word: Psalm 19:7 “The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the [whole] person; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple”. • Ask God for wisdom: James 1:5 “If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the living God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given to him”. • Put life in eternal perspective: Psalm 90:12 “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”.• Get to know Jesus: Colossians 2:3 “In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden”. • We need wisdom to make decisions each day. Even now there are many questions that you may find yourself asking about events that life brings. God promises that if we value wisdom and seek it we will find it. What habits do you have in your daily life to reflect your value on seeking wisdom? Is there any room for improvement? Ask God to help you to gain wisdom and to give you a discerning heart. Also to value the discipline of regular time with Him and His word along with time to reflect and pray.
