DAY 5 WRAP OF THE STATE TITLES Friday night concluded the WA State Championships with some outstanding stellar performances from our Perth City chargers! First, we had Georgia Truscott place 6 th in the open final of the 400 free backed up by 4 of our age group girls making up half of the B final! Next we had Andrew Stevo Walker place 4th in the hotly contested mens100 free. Followed shortly after by Emma Regolini and Andrea Ho in the open 100 back placing 5th & 6th respectively. Kieran Kizza Trump finished off his program with a 7th in the open 50 back with Brianna Throssell capping off her week with another gold in the open 50 free and Andrea backing up again for a 7th in the 200 IM. Then the big boys came out for the 1500 free with some remarkable results!!! Reilly Kennedy came 4th in his age group posting a 46s PB with Jack Natalotto taking 50s off his entry time! Callum Lauriston showed his dominance in the distance free event by winning the 15yr event by a clear 45s taking 55s off his previous mark! In the next age group, Nicholas Rollo who eclipsed his big brother by a mere 0.4s took bronze while only 1s behind was teammate Alexander Freeman. Our last 1500m swimmer was Bretto Fielding who placed 4th by a mere 1 sec! To cap off the night, our open girls took out GOLD & a new STATE RECORD in the 4x100 medley relay!!! Fantastic effort all round to our swimmers, coaches and parents throughout the meet and congratulations to all on a very successful 2015 State Championships!!
