DAY FIVE: This is for Richard Parkinson music challenge and John Graveling who nominated me! The Kinks! It would have been easy to look at something from their 60s output....but I wanted to highlight the later years. The Road is a great song. As always, just listen to Rays lyrics...amazing. The whole LP from the late 80s was a really strong album. The Band are totally under appreciated here and I just wish the Radio would select some of the other songs from this era. Lost & Found is a lost classic and Destroyer shows the Bands power along with Rays immense skills as a front man who has the audience right in his hands.
