DAY GOSPEL YEAR B - DAY 31/12 In the beginning was the Word - Jn 1: 1-18 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God; and the Word was God. 2 In the beginning, she was with God. 3 All things were made by it and without it nothing was done all that was done. 4 In it was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not dominate it. 6 There came a man sent from God; his name was John. 7 He came for testimony, to testify to the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to testify to the light: 9 that it was the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world - and the world was made through it - but the world did not know it. 11 He came unto His own, and His own did not accept him. 12 But to all who received him, he gave power to become children of God, that is, those who believe in his name, 13 because they were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God himself. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we saw His glory, glory as of the Father who receives only Son, full of grace and truth. 15 Him, John testified, crying, This was he of whom I said: He who comes after me ranks ahead of me because he existed before me. 16 From his fullness we have all received grace upon grace. 17 For by Moses was given the Law, but grace and truth came through Jesus the Christ. 18 God no one has ever seen. But the only begotten of God, which is close to the Father, he has made him known. - Word of Salvation. - Glory to you, Lord. prayerful reading OPENING PRAYER - To all of us who find ourselves in this virtual environment, peace from God our Father, the grace and the joy of our Lord Jesus Christ, in love and fellowship of the Holy Spirit. - Blessed be God who has brought us together in the love of Christ! It was in this blissful night, he was born the Savior / The angels with loving voice, / They gave in the sky this cry: 1- READING (TRUTH) What does the day of the text? Read carefully in the Bible text: Jo from 1.1 to 18 The Gospel of John reminds Genesis when you enter: at the beginning. Before creation, the Son of God - the Word - already existed. And through the Word that all things were created. John says that the Word is the source of life and that Word brought light to everyone. The evangelist adds that He was in the world, and through God made the world, but the world did not know her. Those who believe in it have become children of God. And to get closer still to all people the Word became a human being and lived among us in the person of Jesus Christ. Only this fact is enough to make our hearts immensely grateful. 2- MEDITATION (PATH) What it says to me today? By the power of the Spirit, have a lot to thank the Father. The text tells me at the moment? The bishops in Aparecida Conference, said the reasons for our joy: Knowing Jesus Christ by faith is our joy; follow him is a grace, and transmitting this treasure to others is a task that the Lord to call us and choose us, entrusted to us. With eyes illuminated by the light of the Risen Christ we can and we want to look at the world, the history, our peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean and every one of its inhabitants. (Dap 18). Today, I will retire for a good time and remember all that God has done in my life, in my family, in my work, study in the world in the past year. 3- PRAYER (LIFE) The text leads me to say to God?
