DAY6. #misadegallo This is by far the most touching mass I have ever attended. It was celebrated by one of the bishops of Cebu and today’s homily talks about forgiveness. In life, we ask how many times do we have to forgive and the answer is we forgive as many times as it is needed. I struggled with the idea and at the same time, I realized that instead of having the need to be forgiven by others, what I should be more desperate about is the need to forgive myself. It doesn’t really matter what other people think of me. What’s more important is that I know myself and I know that God has forgiven me. So, for my personal #9dawnsofthanks, I would like to give the warmest hugs and the sweetest thank you to my friends, both old and new. Basically for everything; by accepting me, the entire package including my imperfections. And, to make the moment even more magical... Just as I was about to line up for communion, the choir played my most favourite song. I wouldn’t deny there may be some tears involved. My heart was just overwhelmed with the love I received despite my mistakes. I feel so blessed and loved today. I hope you all have a day as beautiful as mine.
