DAYALBAGH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE (DEI) STUDY CENTRE, DAYAL NAGAR , VISAKHAPATNAM CELEBRATES 67TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS. DEI Study Centre, Dayalnagar, Visakhapatnam celebrated 67th Independence Day celebrations today with patriotic fervor and gaiety. Sri.K.S.Prasada Rao, Chairman, Managing Committee presided over the public meeting and traced the history of Indian Independence right from the First War of Independence revolution, in the year 1857 better called as “Sipoy Mutiny” .Sri. V.Dakshinamurty introduced Prof. D.Harinarayana, Pro Vice Chancellor , Gitam University as Chief Guest.Smt.T.Rama Sita gave a brief introduction of various Vocational Courses of the Study Centre. Prof. D. Harinarayana after unfurling the National Flag addressed the students and colony residents and dwelt at length as the present economic scenario of the country and lamented on the decreasing work culture and ethics and degeneration of values. He stated that unless we root out corruption, the country’s progress will be bleak and advised youth who owes out to be 53% in our Indian population to strive hard to rebuild our society and imbibe the values of our elder generation. He distributed Prizes to the students in various sports, games and literary competitions. Sri. D.Premchand presented an article on the Independence day. Sri.M.Ravi Kishore presented Vote of thanks.
