DC Shopian takes stock along Mughal Road : Sachnews Jammu Kashmir GULZAR SAHARA : SHOPIAN, MAY 26: The District Development Commissioner, Shopian along with other District Officers visited various spots across the Mughal Road to take stock of the situation after heavy rains in which livestock of nomads perished and nomads had got stranded. Vehicles were arranged for carrying them to their safe destinations. The DDC during the interaction with the nomads assured them that all the possible help will be provided to them. He also directed the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer and District Red Cross Committee, Shopian to install Camp at Dubjan forthwith so that the basic facilities shall be available to them. Meanwhile, the Road has been cleared from Shopian to Pir-Ki-Gali and the road is traffic worthy, but Poonch side is yet to be cleared. The General Public is advised not to travel along Mughal Road in view of landslide dangers.
