DC is full of neat places to visit and we rarely do, but today we did the tourist thing and went to the Botanical Gardens to see the holiday exhibit. The gardens are beautiful, and the exhibit was cool. In additon to the standard government buildings and monuments recreated in miniature, in all natural materials, there were numerous lighthouses and some train layouts with actual model trains running past the bulindgs and over trestles. Totally worth the trip! As a bonus, we dropped in on the American Indian Museum for a peek and a cup of tea,
