DC reviews arrangements for Pulse-Polio Immunization BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 31: The department of Health Services has made adequate arrangements for conducting immunization of 1,51,464 children below the age of 5 years on January 18, 2015 under Pulse Polio Immunization Programme in the Baramulla This was stated in a meeting today with District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone in chair. The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Baramulla, CMO Baramulla and the Officers from Health, Social Welfare, Education and ICDS Departments. It was informed that 751 Immunization centres are being established in the district where 3337 employees and other volunteers shall perform their duty of administering Polio drops to the children. Besides, door-to-door awareness campaign will be conducted so that no child will remain uncovered. The District Development Commissioner enjoined upon the concerned officers to ensure 100 percent target is achieved in the district.
