DDC Budgam reviews Eid and Shab-e-Qadar arrangements BUDGAM, August 04: A meeting of the District Officers of Budgam was today held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Mr. Kursheed Ahmad Shah. The meeting discussed the measures put in place for ensuring basic facilities, essential commodities like sugar, atta, LPG, rice etc to the consumers adequately during the coming Shab-e-Qadar and Eid-ul-Fiter festivals. The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the officers to keep a close vigil on black marketers and hoarders for keeping the prices of the essential commodities under control. He also directed Budgam Municipal Committee officials for better sanitation around the masques and other religious places during the coming festivals for offering prayers without any inconvenience. He also directed PDD and PHE authorities for uninterrupted electricity and safe drinking water supplies to the common people during the festivals.
