DEAD MANS CURVE Jan and Dean sang a song called Dead Mans Curve and in Deming we had a dead mans curve. Common guys you knew where it was at. You would get your little darlin and take the road behind the country club and drive the curve as fast as you could. The quaking lil darling screaming at you for being so stupid but secretly she was having as much fun as you were. I know of some cars that slid off the curve or claimed that they did, but we all walked back, from Dead Mans Curve. Somebody please remember this, or has my senility already set in too deep,.
