If I think about all that has to be done and all the things that are still a mystery I could choose to be overwhelmed but that doesnt get me even one step closer to accomplishing my dream So... I start by asking the right people the right questions... I hope. Here is the email I sent Tim Cloyd, expert balloon pilot and instructor last Friday- Hi Tim! I hope you are home safely after your latest festival/adventure. I have a few questions- 1. To accomplish this extreme challenge what sort of balloon system should we be looking at? 2. Are there manufacturers you would suggest as top-rated according to your experience? 3. What sort of fuel is used and what would you estimate a daily flight to cost in terms of fuel? 4. Would we require different balloon systems to navigate the various altitudes and terrains we will be encountering? 5. Is there a preferred truck type to transport balloon system? 6. How many people would you suggest for an optimal chase team? 7. Is it possible to mount a GPS in the basket? 8. Have you ever used a drone to film the balloon flight from outside the balloon? 9. If you were me and looking for a corporate sponsor with whom to partner, where would you start? 10. Were you able to connect with any NM or OR flight trainers?
