DEAR ALL DOUGLAS COUNTY EXPLORERS, We are going to be helping with a local event if you didn’t attend the explorers meeting tonight on Tuesday March 11th and if you would like to help please follow this directions below so I can give Sgt. Horn a total head count that will be helping with this event three days prior to this event. If you gave me your name tonight at the explorers meeting I need a confirmation text message or message on our group explorers Facebook page that you will be coming to this event by 11: PM Monday March 17th, 2014. Douglas County Special Olympics Benefit Car, Bike & Truck Show, in collaboration with Douglas Countys Great Shredding Event. Event Day, Date, and Location: Saturday March 22nd 2014 at Douglas County Courthouse 8700 Hospital Dr., Douglasville, Georgia 30134 Time: The time this event starts is 9:00AM and ends around 5:00PM. Details: Douglas County Government and Georgias Own Credit Union has teamed up with the Douglas County Special Olympics Therapeutic Board to bring the community a family, fun-filled event. Shredding trucks will be lined up ready to shred all your personal documents, while citizens take time to enjoy the day checking out local cars, trucks, and bikes. Local craft and food vendors will be on site to join in the festivities. Special Olympics athletes will be voting for the best first, second, and third place in each category of car, motorcycle, and truck. All proceeds benefit the Special Olympics athletes of Douglas County, through the Douglas County Special Olympics Therapeutic Board.
