DEAR COMPATRIOTS OF AAUA HOME AND ABROAD.... While appreciating the Vice Chancellor,there is a need to ask a few questions considering the fact that the Ivory Tower in 2007 if am not mistaken was declared the best varsity accredited by NUC and without any form of connection whether from the top or bottom AAUA rose to it Olympia and reigned on the zenith.At this time u recall the number of structure,there were no greens or aesthetics ,the were crises but didnt lead to anyone loosing his or her jobs.Recall also there were attacks on the incumbent,Governor Kokumo Agagu,People had free expression and movement,there were no sheriffs beating up our academic colossus,no threat and no trepidation.Recall that we were never coerce to do anything repugnant to our conscience and in our leadership when u voted us we did not otherwise the mandate you...we had access to the state house and the governor but we never abused or leverage on it to achieve any self serving or canal motive.He speaks to us@ will and very persuasive yet we were not bought against our conscience. We never at any moment or time gave a triumphant reception or did a banner to worship..In one of our conversation tru the fone i stylishly told my amiable governor that we were apolitical and our varsity abhors students being used as political machinery,he smiled it off and didnt take offence. But Today,AAUA VC my mentor returns from a Confab and their pumps in the air...drums and songs of Jerusalem and Galilee as if it was a VCs competition and we came first. Yes analyst have said we got 20Mill and the VC in quick attempt to refute the speculation of tenor elongation said @the fun fair organised by body of professors and student who i can tell felt otherwise but had to choice to attend only to avoid the emperoic wrath.... My VC has given a slice of the fat n cake from ASO rock to indigents and some have questioned the percentage and the modus.Other leftist had vehemently condemned the Confab as inglorious,needless,share waste of fund and above all,dereliction of duty from a proponent of a21ST VARSITY.And that salaries should not be paid for this un excusable infracture . Others have also argued that of course it was a national call but was not compelled to be U and that any other trusted individual could have gone yet report same goodies to your table especially upon your acclaimed love n not lust for AAUA. It is also argued that the mission was to go negotiate other juicy position especially taking over from Jega of INEC should he compromise delivering the required votes for GEJ and upon your exit...But in all,i had argued vehemently on your behalf since we could not access you even as a former leader in scholarship and leadership,i do not no the shape of ur office for reason that i am perceived as an adversary...and contrary,I have made a resolve never to politicise AAUA but uphold a social crusade against any perceived defect that may likely sabotage the expected glory of the ivory tower. Finally My VC Sir ,it is speculatively presumed that the moribund nature of our alumni was decisively orchestrated to incapacitate us such that we shall never speak in one voice hence breaking our hegemony.We also feel dis passionately sad noticing AAUA has no Governing Council in place and upon investigation,we learnt the Mr Governor and yourself are in search for a capable hand against other rumour that it is a ploy intentionally delayed to have you become the Chairman of the council....thats if all attempt fails in having you stead a seat @d federal. But as usually,i have also on your behalf told the gossips to allow peace....I told them u want others grow even though i am a direct victim of a stunted growth despite my merit...what was denied has been applied else where and without prejudice was considered in the list of merit giving the background. I had told them also that you will instead desire to be a renowned scholar like our own revered Wole Soyinka and Sam Aluko who are consultant respectively in their field.I told them that Professors are usually up for a laurel and as a scholar,they are reservoir n repertoire of academic research and excellence.They provide to solutions against the current realities and direct upon research where and how a country must go. We are bereaved right now my Prof and VC Sir as regards the death of one of your dis engaged staff and ASUU representative who died last week presumably and we feel that you dis allow further death toll by the facts of their purported sack against a course we presumed was honest and @ Internal willingly you denied us access to here from you....
