DEAR FB FRIENDS During August 2014 I had sent the APPROACH PAPER in pursuit of early settlement of 10th bipartite talks Between negotiating unions in banking industry in India & IBA through bilateralism & social dialogue on our then stand of minimum 25% hike is just and sacrosanct!. it was published in the many social networking sites . I had sent this approach paper to IBA and Ministry Of Finance, as well all the negotiating unions . in the context of the ongoing stalemate with the view of enhancing the awareness of the young bankers I am reproducing the same with the view to firm our resolve to fight for justifiable demand now scaled down ot 21 % no holds barred. The goal of my dissertation in this approach paper is to enhance the awareness of the bank employees and their well wishers to generate inquiring minds, with view of galvanizing strategies to settle the present impasse in the on going 10 bipartite negotiations. My goal is to prepare and merge their hearts and minds to resist, repulse the intransigence of IBA /Government combine in denying our just wage revision by considering our demand of now minimum 21 % that too in pay slip components as against the tradition till 9th bipartite of settling wage load on establishment expenditure. Now that I am also a retried bank unionist I have no infrastructure support of helping me with typing proof reading etc. I have typed these documents at my home of own at my with my limited knowledge, putting strenuous efforts and extended unpaid labour stretching up to even late nights and early morning rise to complete this task, culling out data, analyzing it, undertaking probing investigations research much to the disgust of my spouse who felt that after retirement from union, I shall spare full time to family. Since I not familiar with Excel or tally I have did he calculations manually cross checking with pocket calculators. So I seek your forbearance for any inadvertent, syntax, spelling or calculation error that could have possibly crept in beyond my control. This approach paper took considerable time of mine, and I have taken effort to cover some finer points on efficiency and productivity increase of bank employees. It took around 140 hours for me to complete this write up. Please go through the same and request you popularize the contents I have only retired my covetous posts in my unions and not from the bank union movement Remember! Posts and Powers are only structural aspects of the union. The function of the union is to fight, fight against injustice of any kind or form. We have always been blessed with the best and brightest our union has to offer. I shall remain inseparable from the Union movement that has been my family, and will always stand by to guide, when I’m needed I hold the conviction that right to information is directly linked with bringing truth to light. Information is power and documented information is democracy. So any part of this booklet may be freely reproduced in any form by any organization or individual. I have freely made use of suggestion of thoughtful bank employees in many social networking sites. I thank Mr. Pannvalan for his thoughtful, insightful suggestions from time to time in social networking sites for furtherance of just demand –semblance of parity with 6 th pay commission which I have freely made use in this approach paper . With view of developing independent thoughts in bank employees mind devoid any pecuniary interests and make our issues transparent and objective I have presented this approach paper. Only transparent public opinion shall dispel rumours, disengage truth form false hoods and in the process spread the beauty of truth. It is hoped that this booklet will assist in a better understanding of the issues and aspects raised and discussed and end the stalemate, expedite amicable but honourable settlement I hope this approach paper will provide necessary arms and ammunitions, fresh insights in the thought process of rank and file of the movement in their normal , casual , chai pe charcha conversations , discussions etc… Only members of the unions alone motive forces in forcing issues with the powers that be and their comments and opinion are further tools for our future actions.
