DEAR TAD: Coach Z (where my lazerz at?) Dear Tad, My son is a Freshman this year and made it on the football team. I attended a practice last week and was shocked at the way he and other players were treated. The coach yelled and screamed, used degrading language and even slapped one kid on the helmet. Im a single mom and clueless about sports. I cant believe the school allows this coaching. Is this normal? Should coaches be this aggressive with high schoolers? Am I overreacting? -Mary Thoughts?
