DEATH IN ADAM, LIFE IN CHRIST (Christ in your place) But God - TopicsExpress

DEATH IN ADAM, LIFE IN CHRIST (Christ in your place) But God demonstrates (Gk- Katadeiknyei - to display) His own love (Gk-Agapi) toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:12 teaches us that just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. And because of Adams sin, everyones nature became guilty and perverted. Mans case was really hopeless and the design of what follows is clear (Judgement). But the blessings which Christ has procured for us on the cross, is so great by comparing to the evil which followed upon our first Parents. And these blessings not only extend to the removal of these evil, but far beyond what mankind could ever imagine. ...But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Roms 5:8) The scripture says, Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. And teaches us that God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but the world through His Son might be saved. Moreover 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore, if anyone be IN CHRIST, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Our newness IN CHRIST is as a result of THE LOVE OF GOD demonstrated on the cross of cavalry. Gods love for us is so rich beyond measure and more than sufficient for anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord. I pray that your love may continue to abound greatly in all godliness; being rooted and grounded in love. And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to HIM who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever Amen. But till then, always have an expectation of a positive outcome. Jesus truly scares. Shalom!
