DECEPTION BEHIND FASHION MODELING (What The Bible Say About It?) A. The Alluring Promises & Aspirations: 1. To experience fame being the center of attraction. 2. To wear signature collections. 3. To meet gorgeous people in modeling industry. 4. To become professional model. 5. To enjoy traveling around the world. 6. To meet rich & influential people. 7. To become rich & famous. B. The Spiritual Implication: It brings pride, envy, arrogance, selfishness, greed, self satisfaction. These characteristics can be traced back to the nature of Satan himself. And since Satan’s aim is only to destroy God’s work, their ultimate end is self distraction. C. God Is Against Any Form Of Pride, arrogance, self Glory & worldliness: 1. God hates Pride, arrogance, self Glory & worldliness: Proverbs 6:16-19 (KJV) “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 1A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 1An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Romans 12:1,2 (KJV) “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” 1 John 2:15-16 (KJV) “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world”. 2. This World (system of this generation) Is Governed By Satan: 2 Corinthians 4:3,4 “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god (Satan) of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 3.
