DECLARED NOT GUILTY There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. ROMANS 8:1 How would you feel if you commit an offence worthy of condemnation and severe punishment and suddenly you hear the word Not guilty, let him go free? What would those words mean to you? The word of God says For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God but Jesus came to the scene, paid the price for our sins and declared us NOT GUILTY. Without Jesus we would have no hope at all but thank God that Jesus has shed His blood for the remission of our sins, died in our stead, declared us not guilty and has offered us freedom from sin and power to do His will. Beloved, it is a great privilege to have Jesus in our lives. He has set us free but we need to walk according to the Spirit, for the promise is for those who are not dominated by their sinful nature BUT are controlled by the Holy Spirit. Daily we must consciously chose to center our lives on God, use the bible to discover Gods instructions and the Holy Spirit within us empowers us to do them. Let us constantly allow the Holy Spirit to control us, and we will no longer fufill the desires of the flesh and also stand justified before God. I pray that as we do this, may we continue to enjoy the freedom that Christ has purchased for us through His blood in Jesus name. Do have a lovely Monday and a Fruitful week in HIS PRESENCE
