DEEP FRIED CHICKEN LIVERS 1 1/2 cups buttermilk 1lb Chicken livers 1 cup flour 2tsp old bay seasoning 1tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1tsp onion powder Vegetable oil for frying In resealable plastic bag: Combine buttermilk, & livers mix well. Place sealed bag in fridge for 2 hours. Preheat vegetable oil to 325 in a deep fryer Take livers out of fridge, drain excess buttermilk In medium bowl: Combine remaining ingredients, mix well. Coat the livers in flour mixture ; drop livers in the fryer one by one. Fry til golden brown (4-5mins) *livers should float to top of oil when done*
