DEFENDING DEMOCRACY, KEVIN CLARKE CHALLENGES JOHN TORYS RIGHT TO BE MAYOR DUE TO THE UNDEMOCRATIC PROCESS THAT LEAD TO HIS ELECTION AND THE VIOLATION OF THE CHARTER OF RIGHTS OF OVER 60,000 CANDIDATES, WHICH CLARKE FEELS TO DEFINITELY FORCE A NEW ELECTION FOR THE MAYOR OF TORONTOS JOB youtu.be/I2bnQvHzjow I, Kevin Clarke of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, do hereby declare this 6th day of November 2014 that we officially recognize the election of Mr. John Tory as front runner to the Mayor-ship of Toronto, Ontario. However, due to the undemocratic manner in which Mr. Tory was elected we cannot recognize his elevation to Mayor, therefore I would respectfully request Mr. Tory resign his impending inauguration, and to make a call for a equal representation election that allows for all candidates to be equally publicly qualified. There were 65 equal members of the Toronto community who stood for this election and were denied equality by an unfair and the seemingly corruptible practice of censorship via omission, supported by John Tory, Doug Ford and Olivia Chow. Mr. Tory, Mr. Ford and Mrs. Chow were further enabled in the shallow pursuit of popularity at all costs, schoolyard bully mentality, by the sponsorship of debates by community and commercial organizations who disregard the application of dignity to the honored process of democracy. Mr. Tory, Mr. Ford and Mrs. Chow were further enabled by an ignorant media, who knowingly and willingly dismissed the fair and balanced approach to democratic journalism that is required of all democratic processes. By affixing front-runner status by those that have bias motives, a unfair process has been engaged. Democracy means all who wish can participate in a fair and equal manner, This did not happen due to the acclamation of front runner status which was projected to the people of Toronto, by the media, as the battle for the pre-selected mayor of Toronto unfolded. All John Tory earned from the process of the past 10 months was front runner status, not the mayor of Torontos job. The people have spoken and they have clearly and soundly elected john Tory as the preferred by design media front runner. I request of Mr Tory to face his other 65 mayor candidates to explain how he acquired front runner status with no votes having been cast prior to Oct 27 2014. Mr. Tory you did not earn the mayors job fairly or democratically. At the very least Mr Tory must face 50% +1 of the candidates at lest to be a legitimate mayor, and apologize for the travesty of democracy, and disregarding of equality and fairness, that he benefited from. Mr Tory resign before your dignity and integrity are displaced, and no longer relevant to the majority of the people of Toronto. Troy J. Young, 2014 Toronto Mayoral Candidate Kevin Clarke, 2014 Toronto Mayoral Candidate youtu.be/2TEZEfUwlCo
