DEFINITION Of ISLAM الإسلام نظام شامل ... يتناول مظاهر الحياة جميعا .. فهو دولة ووطن أو حكومة وأمة ، وهو خلق وقوة أو رحمة وعدالة وهو ثقافة وقانون أو علم وقضاء ، وهو مادة و ثروة أو كسب وغنى ، وهو جهاد ودعوة أو جيش وفكرة ، كماهو عقيدة صادقة وعبادة صحيحه سواء يسواء Islam is a comprehensive system dealing with all aspects of life, it is a state and nation, or government and Ummah, it is character power or mercy and justice, it is culture and law or knowledge and Justice, it is material and wealth or gain and riches, it is Jihad and a call, or an Army and idea, just as it is sincere faith and true worship, all at the same level. Islam is a message of life, and a message for the whole mankind, just as it is a message to the whole world, and a message to all times. Islam rejects the fragmentation of its provisions and its teachings: Allah says: "O you who believe, enter into Islam wholeheartedly ...“ Ibn Kathir in his Tafseer said: “Allah says while enjoining His servants who believe sincerely in His Messenger to hold on to the principles and laws of Islam and to work with all His commandments and shun all what He forbids as much as they could. " Life is one and it is indivisible and inseparable: It is not possible for the mosque to be for Islam, while the school, university, court, radio station, television, press and the market, or put in another way the whole of life, to be for other things than Islam. Allah said: “would I desire other than Allah as a judge, when He is the one who revealed unto you the book in details”. The life of mankind is an integrated unit, and Islam also came as an integrated unit. It is not possible to reform the life of mankind if Islam takes charge of an aspect of this life and leave the other aspect. Shaikh Muhammad Al-Gazali said: Many efforts are now being made to make Muslims to be satisfied with another Islam that is different from the one that came to them from their prophet, and the one the know from their book. An incomplete Islam that denies the intervention of Islam into the issues of legislation or issues that affect the society” Then he said: "We must truely return to the whole Islam if we wish to live and guide, a return that is based on knowledge and action, theory and practice not wasting any atom weight in the religion, and not compromising any branch of faith, nor any word from the Qur’an. This is because a part of the religion is like an element in a drug, one does not get cured except with the presence of all the elements.
