DELTA STATE POLITICS IN RETROSPECT The political pattern of delta state right from 1999 till date is not comparable to democracy any where in the world as our self-acclaimed leaders would have us believe. we have a similarity of military dictatorship and the mandate thieves call it nascent democracy. Situations where imposition has taken the place of election and some power-drunk politician tells you it is the turn of goat as though an agreement was reached by all stakeholders involved could not have been defined as nascent democracy! Situation where an ex-convict was sworn in as the executive governor of Delta state when it was quite glaring that the man was a criminal,speaks volume of our judicial system! Is it that our colonial masters were not knowledgeable in the common law they bequeathed to us? Is it that our judicial system is contaminated with half-baked lawyers, corrupt and satanic-minded lawyers and only one out of a hundred is good to go? Yes,there is nothing to write home about! Those that have handled the affairs of Delta state for the past 16years have failed us big time! Our educational system is a means of extorting money from the masses and when our children and brothers graduate there is no provision of employment for them and they become chartered thugs instead of chartered accountants! What is the solution to these problems that have brought the beggarly status upon Deltans? We need a man that is tested and confirmed! We dont need failed business men! We do not need those that have never succeeded in building any business empire! Many of those in power since 1999 till date do not know what it takes to build a business empire. One man that has never tested political power right from birth yet, he has succeed in building a business empire and not just building it but remaining on top is chief Great Ovedje Ogboru! His wealth of experience has no limit! He earned the title,The peoples General when he was accused of plotting the overthrow of one of the worst military junta in the political history of Nigeria. The man is the true definition of Delta state putting into consideration the fact that his mother is from Delta north, his wife Delta south and his father Delta centre! The man believes Deltans need a detribalized and all-embracing figure to pilot the affairs of Delta state! He stands for value re-orientation and the Labour party which is the political platform through which he is gunning for government house believes in the realist and socialist approach in handling societal affairs. Let us vote for our freedom! Let us vote chief Greater Ovedje Ogboru as governor of Delta state 2015
