DELTANS DIASPORA WELL REPRESENTED BY ENGR TONY JOHNSON EMEKE ODOE AT THE EVENT ORGANISED BY PEOPLES CLUB OF NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL-PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR CHANGE It was a gathering of Elites and Giants, Ladies and Gentlemen both home and Diaspora at the recent Convention organized by the PEOPLES CLUB OF NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL/ Diaspora held at Newham leisure Centre, LONDON. The convention which started with arrivals of diasporas from all over the world was a beauty of African heritage as men and women turn up enmasse to display solidarity for change. Engr. Tony Johnson Emeke Odoe, Director of Operations Diaspora, who arrived the Venue of the event with one of the current PDP South South Woman Leader, Mrs Ojeh Florence who flew all the way from Nigeria was ushered into the arena with exchange of pleasantries with other dignitaries. In her speech at the event, Mrs Ojieh called on all Nigerians home and at Diaspora to always remember their root to contribute to the development of their society. She thanked the Peoples Club International/Diaspora for the privilege given to her to be at the occasion, saying that she will continue to contribute her own quota to make good governance. Engr. Tony Johnson Emeke Odoe popularly referred to as the Prophet of Change, in his statements established the reason for a change, reiterating on the failures of the governance of the Nation which has brought the people so much agony. According to him, “I do not care how, when or through whom it comes, but all I know and will assure everyone present that change will definitely come”. He sounded loud, Diasporas commitment to contribute massively with every resources at their disposal to the liberation of the people, saying that the people’s good leadership and aspirations for change is their utmost concern. Engr. T. J. Emeke Odoe while thanking the Peoples Club of Nigeria International and Diasporas present for the honour given to him by the leadership of the organizations also charged the crowd to always lend their arms to societal development as that is the only way to make a happy people. The Gala night which was adorned by Nigerians in Diaspora from all walks of life including the Royal Fathers, High Chiefs, Elites and Business Men and Women ended with Traditional dance and praises to God almighty for bringing the people together at this time of the year. The National President in his remark at the end of the event and closing prayer prayed to God for journey mercies back home, thanking everyone for finding out time out of their busy schedules to grace the occasion
