DEMBARE TO ADD 5 MORE Zimbabwe Premiership champions Dynamos - TopicsExpress

DEMBARE TO ADD 5 MORE Zimbabwe Premiership champions Dynamos have unveiled five of their new acquisitions for this season and promised to bring an equal number before March 31. On Friday the Glamour Boys presented jerseys to Kelvin Bulaji, Godknows Murwira, Nigel Gandari, Carlos Rusere and Tonderayi Mateyaunga. Attacking midfielder Bulaji joins Dynamos from city rivals CAPS United while Murwiwa is a former Monomotapa player who was at Shabanie Mine last season. Left-back Rusere and centre back Gandari once played for the Dynamos juniors before they left to seek game time elsewhere. Gandari , a former Prince Edward High student, was at ZRP Football Club, formerly Black Mambas last season on loan while Rusere was at DC Academy. Goalkeeper Mateyaunga was at league runners’ up ZPC Kariba and is set to provide competition to Artwell Mukandi, Tatenda Mukuruva and Devine Mhoya who were at the club last season. Club secretary Webster Chikengezha said they are still chasing five other players who had been recommended by the technical team. “What we are presenting are just the players whom we have concluded deals with and they are now with us. “We had wanted all our players to be present but the manager could not get hold of the likes of Alimenda and Pakamisa because we understand that they are out of town. “The manager tried to get hold of them but failed although the players are still with us,” said Chikengezha. Chikengezha also pointed out that Dynamos were still negotiating to retain Devon Chafa and Simba Sithole, Tafadzwa Rusike and Roderick Mutuma but it was proving to be tricky. “We still have some contractual issues to deal with these players. We have made our offers and told them that is what we are offering but they want us to reveal upwards,” he said. Chikengezha said Dynamos could be forced to look for other players if the deadlock remains while the club also pointed out that they have asked Obey Mwerahari and Dominic Chungwa to get clearances from their clubs. Mwerahari agreed on terms with Dynamos but he still has a contract with ZPC Kariba while Chungwa has a contract with CAPS United. Newly appointed Dynamos coach David Mandigora is hopeful that the new players will fit into the system and add value to the club as the start their pre-season training on Monday. Sportszone
