DEMOCRATIC UTOPIANISM VERSUS. DYSTOPIC OLIGARCHY - Neither Of Them Is The Solution - #To those awaiting on the results of the ongoing deliberations in Addis, lower your flags and seek other alternatives on the basis of social coalitions to bring about pragmatic reforms. The talks are bound to be prolonged with little impact on major issues perhaps due to the degree of conflict resolution skills. There is a need to disband from the wagon of the either imaginary successes shackled by hate and suspicion coupled with incomprehensible negotiations. The people of South Sudan deserve better and need not being deceived as they will not have any stake in those talks as long as insecurity is still not properly addressed. The so-called peace talks have so far had little progress, compromise and remorse to the situation and hence have brought more tears, sorrows and death to innocent populations. #No one should bank on the outcomes of such meetings/proceedings plagued with the irony of gluttonous, short-sighted national aspirants with personalised ambitions. These talks will only make sense if they are neutralised and agreements propelled on agendas that matters to the PEOPLE not individual groups. At such a juncture, the people shall make attempts to conform to any agreement on the basis of workable provisions that are sustainable and legally binding. Sadly, progress is still bleak with boycotts and dishonouring of agreements create blockades to established agendas. #It is unfortunate that the good people of South Sudan though suffered countlessly, have once again been subjected to and sacrificed in pursuit of individual luxurious needs and desires, something so disturbing to comprehend given our history and the supposed legacy. It is pitifully a complete disregard and a disgrace to the social construct of the people of South Sudan that such an era by this generation befell our very important people who have long hoped for an era of peace and tranquility. It is defeating logic indeed to know that some individuals within our collective yet diverse societies disregard social order and peaceful coexistence in expense of peoples needs. #Therefore, if there is anyone who still doubts the dubiousness of general practices in South Sudan, take a long hard look at the nature of atrocities committed, you might have an insight of how deluded leadership-seeking-people have recklessly behaved so barbarically to a point of not knowing who they will lead after achieving their interests. Isnt this insanity? Maybe satanic too.... At this point, I pray only for Gods intervention to guide the government to immediately restore social order if not long lasting peace. God Bless S.Sudan!
