DEO holds meeting with all the nodal officers , Returning officers/ SDMs/Assistant Returning officers ,Members of various teams like video surveillance team ,video viewing team ,Accounting team ,static surveillance team, Flying Squads and directed them to carry their assigned duties and responisbilities in a war footing manner. Meeting was attended by ADC Salim Malik, ADDC Veer Hangloo,all RO’S ,nodal officers apart from sectoral and zonal officers. He directed all RO’s & SDM’S for zero tolerance against MCC violators and ask them to thoroughly go through the electoral offences being highlighted on ECI website for effective implementation of MCC. He even directed all RO’s to hold meeting with BLO’S regarding to their role in SVEEP and also asked them to take a certification from BLO’S that ‘no eligible voter being left ‘in their area before 10th of this month .RO’s were strictly directed to make single window operational in their constituencies at priority . The DEO impressed upon the Executive Magistrates for keeping vigil on the violation of model code of conduct,coordination with flying squads and surveillance teams .DEO imparted detailed training on responsibility of the flying squad teams and ask them to ensure videography while seizing any thing .Role of static surveillance team ,video surveillance team and video viewing team ,Accounting team were also discussed in detail
