A Tender Administration related course and/or Supply Chain Management course. Relevant experience in Demand and Acquisition Management on salary level 8 (proof of salary level must be attached). Sound knowledge of the administration of bids in accordance with strategies, policies and applicable legislation including the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999) (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations as well as the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 (Act 5 of 2000) (PPPFA). Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. Good computer skills. Good planning and organising, interpersonal relations and problem solving skills. A valid driver’s licence (minimum Code B) and the ability to drive. DUTIES : The incumbent will be responsible to co-ordinate and manage the bid process as well as provide administrative support during the bid process. Co-ordinate and manage the quotation process and provide administrative support during the invitation for quotations process. Oversee the maintenance of the Department’s database.
