DESOPADEC Commissioned 6-classrooms block in Ekiugbo Grammar School, Ughelli. The commissioning of a 6-classrooms block in Ekiugbo Grammer School Ughelli by the Delta State Oil-Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC is another evidence that the Delta State Government under the leadership of Gov. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan is finishing strong. The commissioner representing Ughelli North and Ethiope-East Local Government Area on the board of DESOPADEC, Chief Christopher Obiuwevbi Ominimini while making his speech during the event, stated that the construction of the 6-classrooms block is in accordance with the 3 points agenda of the Delta State Government. He equally stated that DESOPADEC has constructed some classroom blocks in the School before now that were not commissioned but that the school authority was given the go ahead for their usage. Speaking further, he said that the contract for the construction of a Science Laboratory in the School has been awarded as well as the construction of the old Ughelli/Warri road that run through the front of the school. He then urged the Staff and Students of the School and the entire Ekiugbo Community to be grateful to Gov. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Barr. Fred Majemite, and Hon. (Barr.) Akpodiete Edoja Rufus for working together as a team to see that these projects are actualized. Finally, he gave the sum of N120, 000 to the principal of the school for her to cook a meal for the entire Students. The Commissioner representing Ndokwa ethnic nationality in the Board of DESOPADEC, Sir Kenny Okolugbo who performed the commissioning exercise task the school authority and the community at large to make judicious use of the facilities being given to them by the State Government. In a remark, the school authority and the Ekiugbo Community were full of joy to the state Government for delivery the dividends of democracy to the school and the entire Ekiugbo Community.
