DESPERATE UBER IN MELBOURNE !!! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT The new Andrews Government needs to hear why you choose Uber. The Victorian Taxi Association wants the Government to ban Uber. They want to use their political influence to convince the Government to take away your right to choose how you get around your city. As well as providing a safe, reliable and affordable way to get around, uberX has become an indispensable source of income for thousands of partner driversacross Victoria. These are hard working mums, dads, students, retirees and entrepreneurs who have benefited from the opportunity of being an uberX partner driver. Even the Victorian regulator, the Taxi Services Commission, has described thecurrent rules as ‘archaic’. The law has to catch up. Now is the time for change! Don’t let the vested interests of a few loud voices in the taxi industry bully their way into preventing you from choosing Uber. The new Andrews Government needs to hear why you ride with Uber. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT BY CONTACTING THE TRANSPORT MINISTER THE HON JACINTA ALLAN, MINISTER FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND EMPLOYMENT CLICK THE BUTTONS TO TWEET @JACINTAALLANMP AND #CHOOSEUBERVIC OR EMAIL HER DIRECTLY The Minister needs to hear the same feedback we do every day. Things like... I use uberX because… Ubers are always reliable and pick me up faster I have had friendly rides with fantastic service I can rate the driver & I feel safe in an Uber My Uber is 20-30% cheaper than a taxi ...what Uber experience will you share?
