DESPERATELY URGENT PLEA : Please help Nala !!! This poor girl from Baza Perrera is out, safe and being fostered by the wonderful foster mummy Iris Bye. Since she has been out Iris has kindly taken Nala back and forth to the vets with a swollen foot/leg. The vets have been treating her (at cost for the meds) with antibiotics and steroid injections and even tried draining the wound....but upon X-raying today it has been discovered that SHE HAD BEEN SHOT !!! She needs an emergency operation tomorrow morning if possible ASAP to remove it !! Its complicated as this is in the joint and a specialist is being consulted too. We have no quote yet from the vets, however I would imagine that this could easily be in the region of €500-€1,000 or more. The X rays have also shown that this poor baby has also had a broken leg in the past. Now that she has a chance of a good safe life we must help her surely !?!?
