DETAILS ON THE PORTPATRICK LIFEBOAT CALL OUTS 4TH OF SEPTEMBER 2013 Portpatrick Lifeboat launched at 20:01 tonight to a small vessel overdue on passage from Bangor northern Ireland to portpatrick. Lifeboats from Donaghadee, larne and Bangor also launched along with coastguard teams from portpatrick and Bangor and SAR helicopters from HMS Gannet and Dublin coastguard. A search of the north channel was undertaken. The search was called off at 10:45 when the vessel showed back up in Bangor Marina safe and well. All SAR units returned to base.
