DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: And the king appointed for them a DAILY provision of the kings delicacies and of the wine which he drank, and three years (THREE YEARS) of training for them, so that at the end of THAT TIME they might serve before the king (Daniel 1:5). 1. If an earthly king sought the welfare of his people with a DAILY PROVISION of the kings delicacies, then how much more do you think the King of (earthly) kings will provide for you? Thank Him right now for being your King who makes DAILY provision for you. 2. Development: The New Testament considers all believers kings and priests (1 Pet. 2:9; Rev. 1:6). However, preparation, training, and grooming is needed in order to walk, talk, and act in a manner consistent with who we are. We are royalty. But even Samuel had to explain the people the behavior of royalty (1 Sam. 10:25). 3. Deployment: God has a plan for your life and it does not include you sitting inside the four walls of a church all the days of your life. The role of the five-fold ministers is to MATURE the saints (Eph. 4). How long has some of us been in church and still not matured to the degree where we can be trusted and deployed to serve before kings? Something is WRONG! They were trained for THREE YEARS. Jesus trained His disciples for THREE YEARS. Esther was prepared in ONE YEAR. The ultimate goal of training others is reproduction. Reproduction ensures that a movement will live past its founding stages. I believe as the scripture above indicates, the end of THAT TIME is upon many of us. Your preparation, your humility, your labor of love, your consistency . . . it was not in vain. I declare you will stand before kings and serve them with gladness. -- ApAML #WorshipandKingship #DevelopmentandDeployment #ServingTheKingandHiskings
