DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME COORDINATOR - EDUCATION The New Zealand High Commission in Apia seeks applications for the position of Development Programme Coordinator (DPC) to assist in the preparation and design, implementation, and monitoring of the New Zealand Aid Programme investment in Samoa. This DPC position will be responsible to manage support of the Education sector. As a DPC – Education, you will work closely with the Ministries of Finance and Education Sport and Culture, other sector agencies and development partners to design and deliver effective results focussed to support education. You will report to the Manager – New Zealand Aid Programme and work closely with NZHC and Wellington based Ministry staff. We are seeking a dynamic person with a strong background in education, skills and experience in project management and implementation, excellent analytical, writing, financial and administrative skills. Applicants must be computer literate and able to operate in English and preferably Samoan. A tertiary qualification and at least three years work experience relevant to the position are essential. As part of the same recruitment process, the NZHC is also seeking to identify suitable people able to take on short-term assignments. These temporary roles would work at the level of a DPC and particularly suit people with interest in the Tourism or Health sectors.
