DEVOLUTION AT WORK: On Sunday as Governor Isaac Ruto was concluding the Ndanai Catholic Church fundraiser; several leaders approached him with various requests. Former Councillor Mwangaza arap Chepkwony who chairs Ndanai cooling plant (funded by the Bomet County Govt) said they have a shortfall of 2 million shillings. Ruto summoned Mr. Cheruiyot who is in charge of Co-operatives and agreed after a short conversation to have the money send by Wednesday (tomorrow). Then came the chairman of Ndanai Health Center with a request to put up a males ward; Health CEC was summoned too and they agreed on something. Then Ndanai Secondary School reminded the governor on a promise to buy them a school bus. The headmistress was told to do an official letter and the same would be addressed soonest. THIS IS INSTANT DEVELOPMENT. If only enough money was devolved so that a governor has the means to address development needs of their people; INSTANTLY like it happened last Sunday.
