DEVOTIONAL Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast - TopicsExpress

DEVOTIONAL Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams (Genesis 37 vs 20). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. In the course of Josephs life, his brothers conspired to kill him, then threw him into a pit, then sold him into slavery, and then he ended up in prison while in Egypt. It seemed that Josephs life had turned upside down. It seemed he couldnt do anything about his situation. He couldnt do anything to prevent his slide from prominence to obscurity. Notice that despite the fact that he was no longer in control of his situation, God took control, and in a matter of time, His will for Joseph became a reality. Joseph lost control, but God was still in control. Joseph couldnt do anything to make things work, but God worked behind the scenes to make things work. When it seemed that Joseph was no longer in charge, God took charge. Friend, have you come to that point in destiny when it seems that you have lost control of your situation? God says, when you lose control, He will take control. When it seems you have become a victim of circumstances you didnt create, God will show up to deliver you. When you dont know what to do, God knows. When you cant handle it, God can. When you cant do anything about it, God will do something about it. When you cant solve it, God will solve it in His own way. When you cant find the way, God will show the way. Cheer up Beloved, Help is on the way. Stay connected to God. God will never leave you nor forsake you. Few weeks from now, you will testify about how God came through for you even when you lost hope. Just remember, when you arent in charge, God is so much in charge! Pray with me,Lord, when it seems I am not in charge, take charge of my destiny in Jesus name. Have a Restful Saturday!
