DEWS CAUSE HAS RAISED $155 OF OUR $400 GOAL. CAN WE RAISE A LITTLE MORE TO HELP THIS POOR GIRL? by Verity (Headrock Dogs Rescue, Sapan Hin, Thailand) Dew is in a terrible mess with lots of pain. Every 6 months or year poor Dew suffers terrible outbreaks of skin sores over her body. Today I could hardly bare to look at her with all her sores from her head along her back to her tail. Poor little girl is also dripping from her nose. Last year it was so bad she hardly had any hair left. The vet says it’s a fungus infection but the vitamins that have worked so well on 2 other dogs with the same complaint haven’t worked well on Dew. She’s had a daily intake of Vitamin B12, Vitamin B Complex and Omega 3 for the past year which should help to keep up her immune system. The vet told us it is the same skin infection as last time we should continue to treat it with the same skin remedies. Sam of K9Aid has also been very helpful in advising on her diet and recommending antibiotics. She constantly breaks out in small areas which I can control with Gentian Violet. This remedy is fantastic and I use it on all the dogs who have skin infections, bites and sores. As you can see Dew is a lovely violet colour!. Dew has been to the vet many times regarding this condition and he can only diagnose a fungus infection and prescribe medications to alleviate the pain and help dry it up. I know Dew will be in very low spirits whilst she’s suffering from this awful outbreak and she loves to lie in Thep’s studio. Dew used to have a beautiful black glossy coat until her best friends was run over outside our house. The monster who killed her friend didn’t even stop although he was driving slowly. Since that time poor Dew has suffered from this awful skin condition. Any help you can give this lovely little dog to help alleviate her suffering would be very welcome.
