***DFF*** Quick note but very serious. Most of you will remember awhile back our conversation about flashing lights to drivers as a professional courteousy. There is something you all need to understand about me personally. The last 10 years of my time on the road. I was a Perfectionist. Everything about my Truck, Load, paper work, Me... everything had to be Perfect--- 24 hours a day 7 days a week. And when it was perfect... it still was not good enough. I was that way not to out do anyone. There was never dirt in my truck it was spotless always. I was a slave to my own resentment of the mistakes I made in the past. And I would be damned if I ever made the same ones. I was there to make up for many years of not being that way. I was hard on myself, and that made me excel at my job. When I pulled onto a jobsite my truck was clean. I would unhook from every job even if the move was huge I would block the trailer in a legal spot and scoot, to go wash my truck then pull on to the job site that way. I wanted to look good and do good every waking second. To me there is better than perfect. This is why I created this Organization. Because I feel we can completely eliminate accidents/incidents all together. Aside from the ones caused by medical complications. I feel we can almost make trucking perfect in that regard. So as it pertains to that topic. I felt it is the responsibility of each individual driver to take care of his own--- every second of everyday. I apologize if I have side steeped or stepped on some ones feelings. I feel this was a perfect message at a perfect time. Brian
