DHL and Andretti Autosport® to Continue Successful Partnership Indianapolis 500® Champion Hunter-Reay to Pilot DHL Indy Car in 2015 and Beyond WEST ALLIS, Wis. and PLANTATION, FL (Aug. 17, 2014) - The relationship between DHL and Andretti Autosport is four seasons strong and shows no signs of weakening. With Milwaukee IndyFest as a backdrop, the two parties today publically signed a partnership extension, which will see the global market leader in the logistics industry remain the primary sponsor on the No. 28 Andretti Autosport Indy car as part of a multi-year agreement. The speed, reliability and dedication exemplified by Andretti Autosport, Ryan Hunter-Reay and the DHL IndyCar team is truly an ideal fit for DHL and we are extremely pleased to continue our successful partnership, said Christine Nashick, Chief Customer Officer for DHL Express. Since we teamed together in 2011, weve been able to successfully connect our global brand with the public and promote DHL as the International Specialists. We look forward to more spectacular years of racing with Andretti Autosport and Ryan. Elements of sponsorship continue in 2015 with DHL image and advertising rights as well as VIP hospitality platforms for DHL customers at races in major U.S. and international markets. In addition to this sponsorship extension, the Indianapolis-based four-time IndyCar Champions confirmed that 2014 Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay will return to the team in 2015 and beyond to pilot the DHL- sponsored machine. Im thrilled to be able to announce today that the relationship between myself, DHL and Andretti Autosport will continue, said two-time ESPYS Best Driver award recipient Hunter-Reay. To think back on my career and how far it has come, I know that DHL and Andretti Autosport have been instrumental in great achievements. Im happy to call both organizations family and proud of how we have grown together over the past years. DHL is an iconic international brand and I cant thank them enough for not only their support in the team and myself, but also for their trust in me as a spokesperson and representative of their company. Every driver strives to find the stability in their career that allows them to continually grow each year; having a home at Andretti Autosport for the last five seasons, working with the same crew and supportive sponsors has no doubt been a key part of our successes. I look forward to all that is yet to come. Hunter-Reay, 33, currently sits third in the Verizon IndyCar Series championship points standings, only 63 points behind the championship leader. With 166 Indy car starts, Hunter-Reay holds 14 race wins, 81 top-10 finishes and captured the 2012 IndyCar Series Championship title in a thrilling season finale showdown. Together DHL and Ryan (Hunter-Reay) have won their first series championship and first Indy 500 and we couldnt be happier to have both returning to the Andretti family, said team owner Michael Andretti. Having a driver as dedicated as Ryan and a partner as supportive as DHL is what every IndyCar team strives to achieve. Im happy to have shared the last few years with them and look forward to all of the success that will no doubt be in our future together.
