DHQ has reported that 1billlion US Dollars is needed to have the needed tools to combat terrorism in Nigeria. FGN was reported to be seeking for laons to address this. Should we borrow to protect our nation and citizens and leave behind such debts to the future generations? At a time like this, we need some radical approaches to save our nation by defeating terrorism. If every citizen of Nigeria contributes only N1,000 as Defend Our Nation fund to the FGN, over 1 billion US Dollars will be raised to free ourselves. Instead of embarking on a mission to take a loan for our defence, let us launch a citizen empowered campaign to raise the 1 billion dollars by inspiring every citizen to contribute the fund and see what the DHQ can do at last. Let us stand against terrorism by contributing to defend our nation. I believe that such a patriotic offering for peace by every Nigerian without exception can become a turning point for peace and security in Nigeria
