DIABETIC FOOTSPA SPECIALLY DEVELOPED BY A DIABETIC FOR DIABETIC FEET PROBLEMS. After years of her husbands involvement with the design and manufacture of various ozone products and experiencing first-hand the healing properties of ozone, this woman ,being a diabetic herself ,hit upon the idea of a foot spa combined with ozone to treat the various problems related to a diabetics feet.. After searching all over the world for a foot spa that also supplies ozone to the water while in use and finding none it was decided to develop and build one. After many tests with various existing standard foot spa makes and models one was eventually found to be reliable and with enough free space inside to accommodate all the electronic parts needed to build in an ozone generator and to make it a compact self-contained unit no bigger than the original and without any external wires, pipes or equipment and the first unit was built. It was also important to use an existing foot spa and do a modification in order to keep the price down. This machine uses ambient air to produce ozone inside the unit and feeds it through the water constantly while in use. It needs no external oxygen supply and works exactly like the original with only ozone added the combination of massaging, infra-red light and ozone was soon found to be extremely efficient for treating the problems associated with diabetic feet. A bag fitting over the foot spa and the upper legs was also made to trap more ozone for a longer period of time, a technique also known as “bagging “when doing ozone treatment. This machine only uses water and electricity to operate, just like the standard foot spa. Friends started asking for these machines as well and they became so popular because of the amazing results that it was decided to import larger quantities of the electronics needed to build the ozone generators in order to keep these machines as affordable as possible. It must be stressed that this is a totally different concept from the so-called ionic foot spa that uses an external contraption with electrical wires going into the water that causes the water to discolour because of a chemical reaction with metals and other elements in the water that had been widely advertised a couple of years ago. The distributors claimed at the time that the discolouration of the water was the result of “toxins drawn from the body through the feet and even had a colour chart allegedly indicating various medical conditions which was a totally fraudulent claim of course.
