DIC Kathua organizes Multilingual Mushiara KATHUA, JULY 31 - District Information Centre Kathua organized a Multilingual Mushiara at Girdharli Lal Dogra Memorial Government Degree College at Hiranagar today. Principal G.L.D Memorial College K.C Badgal was the chief guest on the occasion while college staff and large number of students were also present in the function. The poets recited their poem and ghazals in Dogri, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. They threw light on the various spheres of life through their writings. They stressed on eradication of various social evils like dowry system, drug addiction, gender disparity and corruption. The prominent among those who recited theirpoems include Sanjay Sehgal, Seema Devi, T.RSumbria, Kuldeep Kippi, Rachna Bhagat, Prem Khajuria. Vijay Sharma,Jatinderkhajuria. While speaking on the occasion K.C Badgal thanked the Information Department for organizing mushaiara. He said that poets give right direction to the society through their writings and also help in eradicating of social evils from the society.
