DID JESUS CHRIST REALLY EXIST or was his character a creation to fuel the myth??? As black folks and ancestors of slaves we must be able to maturally and sensibly DECONSTRUCT stories that have been forced upon us from earlier generations by persons who may not have had our best interest at heart. Most of us are slowly accepting that Christianity wasnt designed for us and the Bible isnt meant to be taken LITERALLY nor is it the infallible word of any god (Hebrew or otherwise). The subject of Jesus Christs existence has been hotly debated in academia (secular & religious)... Theres a fairly obvious conclusion based on facts - here are some highlights of the research: 1. No first century secular evidence whatsoever exists to support the actuality of Yeshua ben Yosef. In other words the Bible is the only place where Jesus is recorded. 2. Even the New Testament stories don’t claim to be first-hand accounts of Jesus, but simply stories of stories. Similar to court in no way is that considered factual. 3. The gospels, our ONLY accounts of a historical Jesus, contradict each other and in some instances drastically which further adds to the created character aspect of Jesus. Theres some much more factually data that proves that Jesus was more than likely a created character to appease the masses and soften the image of the old testament blood thirsty murderous Hebrew God. As black folks it may be difficult to stomach this but whether now or later these FACT will have to be addressed. Does it really matter if Jesus was real or not???
