DID YOU KNOW THAT SATAN WORKS FOR GOD? By Deirdre Updated November 15, 2014 In April 2013 the Lord shared His thoughts with me audibly. Thereafter the Holy Spirit manifested itself and began to teach me. My very first training session with the manifested Holy Spirit was to teach me that Satan works for God. When I say manifested, I mean MANIFESTED IN THE SEEN WORLD -- not an inner voice or an inner prompting. I mean the Holy Spirit actually manipulated my computer, as I sat back and observed. He caused instructional web pages to display on my computer screen and it was as though I were in a computer guided training session. He told jokes while I was preparing for training and during training. He told me this one joke -- He said that one day the angels were selecting and preparing their music for God, when Satan walks in with his musical selection -- an R. Kelly tune with lyrics that said I dont see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind. God also took me to a website and told me to purchase some religious material and at the check-out page there was a question that said Do you want to make a donation? and God said No Thank You! I dont know if you get it, but both of these things tickled me. God said we get our sense of humor from Him. Over the months after that first session, I learned more about Satan than anyone can ever imagine, including Satans role and responsibilities in our salvation. Can we receive salvation without the help of Satan? I dont know -- I guess we could, but God has given Satan the responsibility to test us. Salvation begins with a test of your faith, which includes a trial by fire that takes place in Gods court. Satan plays a major role in this test. It is his responsibility to create your trials and cause you to suffer, not unlike when God allowed Satan to cause Job to suffer, or when Jesus Himself was tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1-11). As with Job, God sets the limits on how much Satan can cause you to suffer. Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. INDEED, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. - Revelation 2:10 This past weekend, the Holy Spirit was teaching me. I was learning about Satans role and what the Bible says about Satan. It is known by most Christians that they are required to work for God by putting their spiritual gifts into service for the benefit of the world. In 1 Corinthians 12, we learn that spiritual gifts are given to Gods people by the Holy Spirit for the common good. Verse 11 says the gifts are given according to Gods sovereign will (as he determines). Ephesians 4:12 tells us these gifts are given to prepare Gods people for service and for building up the body of Christ. According to an internet article, the term spiritual gifts comes from the Greek words charismata (gifts) and pneumatika (spirits). They are the plural forms of charisma, meaning expression of grace, and pneumatikon meaning expression of Spirit. While there are different kinds of gifts (1 Corinthians 12:4), generally speaking, spiritual gifts are God-given graces (special abilities, offices, or manifestations) meant for works of service, to benefit and build up the body of Christ as a whole. BUT, DID YOU KNOW THAT EVEN SATAN WORKS FOR GOD? It is TRUE, Revelation 2:10 tells us this. At the end of time, you, me and everybody living and dead will face judgment in the Highest Court ....God’s Court. This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares. Romans 2:16 (NIV) Besides, you the accused; there will be at least 4 other entities, servants working in the highest Court: 1) The Judge, 2) The Accuser, 3) The Prosecutor, and 4) The Defender. Satan will be both the accuser and the prosecutor, but let me enlighten you on all of the roles and responsibilities, including Satan’s. THE JUDGE Jesus, Our Lord and Savior will be the Judge. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom... (2 Timothy 4:1). The Bible tells us that it is Jesus Christ, God the Son, not God the Father, that will be the Judge. Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, John 5:22 THE ACCUSER AND PROSECUTOR Satan will be both the accuser and the prosecutor. Just like courts here on earth, there is nothing to judge unless there is an accuser and a prosecutor ... and THAT is Satans JOB, hence Satan works for the Highest Court … God’s court, hence Satan works for God. And just like the prosecutors in the courts here on earth, are famous for tricks, traps, deception and lies; if there is no evidence to prosecute an individual, the same is true in the Highest Court. Satan and his staff will go out and attempt to create evidence through tricks, traps, deception and lies. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter:58; ...Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations... Revelation 20:7-8; The Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.” - JOB 1:7 (ESV) Once the prosecutor has his evidence, he will bring his evidence into the Highest Court and ACCUSE you. “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. Revelation 12:10 THE DEFENDER We must thank God, for God the Father is our defender. Just like a fathers role here on earth is to protect his children. God our Father will protect and defend us, his children against the accuser. ...With his own hands he defends his cause. Oh, be his help against his foes!” Deuteronomy 33:7 Just as the devil goes to and fro on the earth for the purpose of gathering the prosecutors evidence, Gods eyes move to and fro throughout the earth for the purpose of gathering evidence for the defense ....For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is COMPLETELY His. 2 Chronicles 16:9 If He has his own defense evidence, God will rebuke Satan’s accusations and prosecutorial evidence against us. Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?” Zechariah 3:1-2 (ESV) God promises us that we will be victorious at trial, as long as we have followed what the defense attorney has advised us to do in order to avoid a “Guilty” verdict…. “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 ESV HOW SHOULD YOU PREPARE FOR JUDGEMENT DAY? ASSIST IN YOUR OWN DEFENSE BY PARTICIPATING IN OUR MOCK TRIALS. In courts here on earth, your attorney will prepare you for your defense at trial. God is no different; God teaches you how to prepare for your defense, how to avoid Satan’s attempts to condemn you when Satan and his staff come to collect evidence by way of trick, trap, deception and lie. In our mock trials you get to face the truth about you and the accusations that Satan shall make against you. The benefit of our mock trial, is armed with the knowledge of what you shall be accused of, you can atone for your sins (past and present) by confessing and repenting. Contrary to what most people think, repenting is more than saying Im sorry to God. You must show God that you are truly remorseful by reconciling with those you sinned against and making sincere attempts to restore those whom you harmed. By doing this you protect yourself from condemnation on Judgment day. Another myth is that once saved always said. But the bible teaches that the righteous can fall out of grace and like the wicked be condemned to die, in fact God considers a righteous person falling out of grace to be worst than a wicked. “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.” - Ezekiel 3:20-21 So our mock trials prepare people for salvation by applying the full armor of God to their lives, so that they can see their own weaknesses and vulnerabilities and correct them before they are required to give an account to God. For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. - 1 Corinthians 11:31 There are three things identified in the Book of Revelation that are necessary to overcome Satans accusations and obtain salvation: 1) blood of the Lamb; 2) word of their testimony; this is not testimony about how God blessed you and your family; this is testimony about how you were a blessing to OTHERS, about your testimony about how you picked up your cross and followed Jesus in obedience to God, and 3) you must be willing to let go of the life that you and Satan created together, a life of the flesh. You must demonstrate through actions that you have let go of your old life in the flesh, and that you are living life in the Spirit. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” - Revelation 12:10-11 So this Ministry provides defense preparation services for the Lords people, in anticipation of their trial at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Our mock trials are designed to bring out the worst in you, so that you can prepare a defense, which includes mitigating the accusations that will be waged against you, by atoning for your sins beforehand. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. - Ephesians 6:10-18 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV) SO WHY ARE YOU AND OTHER CHRISTIANS FACING JUDGMENT WHEN YOU ARE ALREADY SAVED? Because accepting Christ only gives you the RIGHT to become children of God. But to all who did RECEIVE him, who believed in his name, he gave the RIGHT to become children of God - John 1:12 (ESV) Those who profess to be Christian are judged to determine if you ACTUALLY BECAME children of God. God will judge whether you are truly His disciple, have you demonstrated faith (as opposed to just stating it), have you given up your life for His sake and picked up your cross and followed Him? Have you lived a righteous life, or is your life a mix of deeds both good and evil? What contributions have you made to the Body of Christ? How have you applied your spiritual gifts? Did you seek spiritual gifts, so that you are better equipped to serve God? What things did you do in service to God? When you confess and repent, does your actions bear fruit of repentance, in other words have you attempted to restore people that you have harmed with your sin? All of these things, one who is saved shall be judged for. As Christians we must do more than say Im sorry to God, we must reconcile with our brother, before we can be reconciled to God. This is how we Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. - Matthew 3:8 So, contrary to popular opinion, God only gives FREE gifts; God does NOT give FREE rides. The Bible teaches that all shall face judgment whether a disciple of Christ or not. THE DEEDS YOU DO THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE, DO NOT GET ABSOLVED WITH TIME, YOU MIGHT FORGET ABOUT THEM, BUT GOD DOES NOT. YOUR DEEDS GOOD OR EVIL FOLLOW YOU TO DEATH AND TO THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST. And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed INDEED,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labours, for their deeds follow them!” - Revelation 14:13 For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14 ESV So, there shall be two judgments: 1) Judgment for ALL of the Living and 2)Judgment for ALL of the Dead. Judgment for the living takes place at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Jesus Christ judges the deeds of the living whether good or evil. Judgment for the dead, those who have experienced the first death, take place at the Great White Throne; this is a judgment of the deeds of those who are dead, according to what has been written in books. Part of this judgment includes determining whether the individuals name exists in the Book of Life, or whether they are to be cast into the Lake of Fire and experience the 2nd death. THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may RECEIVE the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. - 2 Corinthians 5:9-11 For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. -Romans 14:7-12 THE GREAT WHITE THRONE All (believers and non-believers) all who have experienced the first death shall be judged at the Great White Throne. The dead are judged according to their works, by the things that were written in the book(s). (Revelation 20:12). After their works are examined, their name is looked up in the Book of Life. Anyone not found written in the Book of Life (regardless of their works) is cast into the Lake of Fire. The Lake of Fire is the 2nd Death. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. - Revelation 20:11-15 This is the second death.
