DIDI Puzzle I first saw this puzzle in 2010 at this Japanese site where puzzle shapes for assembling the 12 Zodiac signs are also posted - www1.kamakuranet.ne.jp/usasan/files/lib/didi.htm It was quite a challenge to origaminize this and it wasnt until recently that I found a very simple way to fold the 2 pairs. I hope I can make the proper diagrams available soon but for those who want to try, here are some hints. Both shapes are from squares of different sizes. The diagonal of the smaller square is equal to the length the side of the larger square. Both shapes begin with the Kite base. I am amazed by the many puzzle shapes that can be arranged from just these 4 Tans. The site where I origaminized the last 4 puzzles presented just 48 puzzle shapes in the booklet that comes with the set made from Japanese Cypress but I am very sure there are many more - puzzleboxworld/didi-japanese-puzzle.htm I dont know if the rectangle shape shown in the front page of the booklet is possible but I still cannot figure out how to arrange it..
