DIES TODAY!! KICKED TO KURB by ACC-Unfair NEW HOPE RATING!!!! Poor KRINGER arrived at the ACC, against her wishes back on 12/24 because she bites people. Yet her owner described her as a sweet cat and did nothing to try to get KRINGER back. When KRINGER was brought in for her assessment, she first headbutted the ASSESSOR and then, after a bit, hissed and swatted at the hand. NOW......firstly-there could be many reasons for her doing this-its noted that KRINGER isnt spayed, and sometimes hormones are the reason for a female cat to become suddenly moody. But there might be something else going on, cats frequently do t hings like this when they are in pain-it is one of the symptoms in fact of feline glaucoma. This isnt to say that KRINGER is ill, but the thing is, something is going on with this cat, whos lived with other cats and who hasnt been noted to have had this sort of thing happen before. But the ACC isnt interested in helping KRINGER or finding out to make her more adoptable. No. They have had her since CHRISTMAS EVE and havent done a thing for her. To top that off, poor KRINGER has a cold, and that together with her NEW HOPE rating and poor behavioral assessment have made things that much worse for poor KRINGER! Dont let KRINGER be killed-offer to foster this sweet girl-shes noted by her previous owner to have been a very sweet cat. Please give this little girl a chance! When we dont feel well, were not at our best, and certainly KRINGER isnt feeling well. With a good vet exam, a spay, and a home where she can rest and distress, she will be a very different cat indeed, but she needs that chance! Save Kringer tonight! She needs a hero!
